Welcome to the 2:42 Blog!
As today was the first official Sunday for 2:42, I thought it would be fun to kick things off by asking a question. What is the biggest reason(s) that you are attending 2:42? and what are you looking forward to most in this fellowship?
I am looking forward to being challenged intellectually about doctrine, theology and the gospel. I am looking forward to connecting in deeper relationships with other coulples and families that are in the similiar age and stage of life that I am in.
I am looking forward to the ministry opportunities that will arise...
I'm looking forward to snacks... although last week was pretty weak.
Keep the blogs coming! I think we should post whatever the "hot-button" question of the week was here for online comment...
I am most looking forward to getting to know other people and young families in the church. I always wish there could be more opportunities for connecting with them in a "logistically easy" way, i.e. when we're already all at church!
My reasons for attending 2:42 are similar to Phillip's: I am seeking to intensify my relationship with Jesus, and living His words. As a 27 yr. old college student, I am enjoying meeting new people who are serious about following God, and who are closer to my age range than most college goers. I thrive on the challenge brought on by other Christians who are more mature than I. I'm willing to lead a growth group-I heard some talk about the need to organize one.
